Saving Brinton Special Screening

  • Cinema Village 22 East 12th St New York, NY USA (map)

Don't miss out on this exclusive viewing and Q&A -- just for Iowa Alumni! Hailed by The Hollywood Reporter as “a cinephile’s delight,” this documentary by Tommy Haines, John Richard, and Andrew Sherburne, featuring Michael Zahs, is opening in New York for a one-week run, from May 18 to 24, 2018. It chronicles an eccentric Iowa historian’s efforts to save some of the world’s earliest films, unearthed from the collections of legendary movie man William Franklin Brinton.

Check out the trailer and jump on these tickets before they sell out (and we're certain they will!). Mark your calendar for the May 19th, 3:15pm at Cinema Village (22 E. 12th St.) and invite your fellow alums for the dedicated alumni showing.

After the show, you’ll have the chance to mingle with Mr. Zahs and members of the film team at Corkbuzz (13 E. 13th St.), where you’ll receive a “Saving Brinton” discount on wine and beer.
